Find Widget ID & Section ID of a Widget in Blogger

You might come in need of your widget’s id when you are redesigning your blog’s template. But blogger doesn’t tell us anything about the widget’s section id and widget id while creating it. We’ve to find it manually searching in your blog template. But that’s a little tricky.
No worries! I’ve found out a more easier way find out your blog ID and section & widget ID of widgets. Just follow the below steps in the tutorial and find out how to find yours.

How to Find Widget ID, Section ID and Blog ID

Go to Blogger Dashboard > Layout

Now locate the widget and click Edit. A window will popup. (I've chosen Popular Post Widget for the tutorial)

Now in the popup window to edit the widget, we can see a url. The widget ID and Section ID we’re looking for is in this url.

So let’s see where the widget and section id is. Below you can see the URL of my Popular Posts Widget.

In my url, hope you can clearly see

sectionId=sidebar so the widget’s section ID is sidebar
widgetId=PopularPosts1 and the widget ID is PopularPosts1

and additionally you can see

blogID=12345678910111213, so your blog id is 12345678910111213
