Backup your Blogger Template - Beginner's Guide

Blogger provides us with easy ways to customize the look and feel of our blogs. We can easily customize our template through the template editor. But while doing this there is always a chance that we might mess things up. No worries, blogger provides an way to backup your blogger templates before making any customization. So that we can easily restore it, if we mess anything up.

Backing up your blogger template is easy and only requires a few seconds. Below you can read the step by step instructions to back up your blogger template.

HOW TO BACKUP YOUR BLOGGER TEMPLATE

First, navigate to Blogger Dashboard > Template

Click on Backup/Restore

A window (see pic below) will appear

Click on

on the window appearing.
That’s it! A download will start automatically in your browser.

Now keep the downloaded file in a safe place, so that you can restore it later. To upload the backed template, simply follow these steps – Uploading a blogger template.
