Adding your Signature at the End of Every Blog Post

add signature to your blogger postsYou might have come across some blogs that the signature of their authors at the end of every post. Ever wanted to add it at the end of your post. Yep! You’re at the right place. Today I'm going to share how to add stylish signatures to the end of your posts.
The tutorial is divided into two parts. The first part will help you in creating your stylish signature online. And in the second part we’ll see how to add your signature to the end of your blog posts. Read on.


STEP #1 : Creating your Signature Online

You can skip this part if you have a signature of yourself with you. (please do not use your own signature, use Photoshop to create an image with your name on it and do not forgot to make it funky by using custom fonts). All you have to upload it to blogger or some hosting site and not down its url and skip down to step 2.
If you want to create a some stylish signature from some pre-made design follow the steps below.
  1. Visit My Live Signature and Click ‘Start Now.
  2. You’ll be directed to next page and there you’ll get 4 options and choose ‘Using the signature creation wizard’
  3. And now just enter your name in field provided and click ‘Next Step’Snap_2013.11.29_15h44m50s_001_
  • Now you’ll be directed to the next step and there you've to choose a font that you’d like to have from over hundreds of font. Choose a font and click ‘Next Step’

  • Now in this step you've to choose the size of your signature. It’s recommended to choose 3 or 4, however it’s up to you to choose. Once you've chosen the font size click ‘Next Step’

  • Now, you've to select the text and background colour. I've kept the background colour to be transparent. Choose wisely and click ‘Next Step’.Snap_2013.11.29_16h39m32s_006_
  • This is the last part of the wizard, here you have to select the slope for the signature. I've choose #2 for now. Once you've set the slope, click ‘Next Step’.Snap_2013.11.29_16h42m08s_007_
That’s it. You’ll get a message ‘Finished! The signature is ready.’ Now you have to click on ‘Want to use this signature?’ (see the pic below)Snap_2013.11.29_16h44m44s_008_
  • Now you’ll be redirected to signature code generating page and there choose ‘Generate HTML code’ from the two options.Snap_2013.11.29_16h46m52s_009_
  • Now again you’ll get two options, click on ‘Generate a code for my handwritten signature’.

Now you’ll be provided with the HTML code of your signature. Copy the code and keep it. See my signature and HTML code below.

STEP #2 : Adding Signature to your Posts

  • Go to Blogger Dashboard > Settings > Posts and comments
  • Under ‘Post’ section you can see ‘Post Template’. Click add and paste your HTML code (not the code given here) you've copied into it.

NOTE: Do not post the whole code that you’ve copied. Remove the highlighted code from your HTML code and paste it. This is important!!

  • Now save your settings.
